Crazy about Plants

This is the perfect itinerary for members of Garden Clubs, Botanical Institutions or simply for those that are...crazy about plants!! Get to know and compare some of our flora in Costa Rica's different habitats, along with exotic representatives of other areas around the planet.

This program combines general natural history introduction and nature sightseeing with a more specialized botanical emphasis, using the National Parks of the country and other wild areas as open labs and gardens.

Includes stays in several tropical habitats like rain forest, cloud forest, sub-alpine paramo and visits and stays in the two most important botanical gardens in Costa Rica: Lankester Botanical gardens, operated by the University of Costa Rica and Wilson's Botanical Gardens and Las Cruces Field Station from the Organization For Tropical Studies OTS.
